The Look and Feel of Web Sites
Layout, whether in print or electronic media, is all about using professional page layout skills for creating a visual attention. Web layout design is as important an element of web page design as page layout is in the print media.
In web designing, a good web page layout contributes largely to the look and feel of a web site than anything else. The electronic page is better known as graphical user interface (GUI) when interactive elements are included. This usually includes interactive elements and multimedia in addition to text and still images.
Producing the attractive web layout design requires the skills of CSS and HTML experts. Cascading style sheets are important to keep the page layout consistent between web browsers and our experts in HTML ensure how the layout of an HTML page will change (reflow) when resized by the end-user.
Layout is All about Content
Today’s web sites contain a range of elements such as text, images, sounds and other content, and it may be interactive. Modern website design must take into consideration a proper layout of the content for flawless end-user experience. If any layout fails to appear as it should, it is possible that it does not conform to customary design principles, or that those standards clash with standard layout elements. Creative web designing, therefore, is all about striking the right balance between content and layout.

Table-based Layouts v/s Tableless Web Layout Design
In recent times, there has been a spat of discussions between web designers on the relative advantages and disadvantages of table-based and tableless layout. While they may continue to argue, we follow the practice of using the judicious mix of HTML, XHTML and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) for coding. Agreed that XHTML combined with CSS is the best solution to coding a website’s visual layout – for obvious advantages like faster loading, easier redesigning, web accessibility, better SEO and low cost among others – we do not dismiss HTML altogether for rendering the tabular data.
In the end, our designing experts comprising of both CSS and HTML experts employ the best and appropriate methodology when designing the layout for web pages. We use the table-based layout when needed or use only tableless layout as the case may be.
